Dear readers! From June 15 to 28, 2026, the Georgian city of Batumi will turn into the world capital of children's chess. An incredible event awaits us - the FIDE World Cup for the youngest categories.
🏆 About the tournament: Where the future is tempered
This is an official cup under the auspices of FIDE and Georgian Chess Federation. The tournament is rated, so each move of the child is recorded in the history of his international rating.
Conditions for participation: The tournament is open to official representatives of national federations and additional players. Georgia was not chosen by chance - its liberal visa policy (visa-free entry for citizens of over 90 countries) makes it easy to gather participants from all continents.
🏛️ Historical background: Georgia is a chess state
Hosting such a tournament in Georgia is a tribute to the country that gave the world legendary champions: Nona Gaprindashvili and Maya Chiburdanidze. Batumi has repeatedly hosted Chess Olympiads and European Championships, so the experience of organizing it here is at the highest level.

Batumi is a combination of subtropical paradise and ultra-modern architecture.
