From April 26 to May 5, 2026, Croatia will become the chess powerhouse of Europe. For ten days, talented schoolchildren from across the continent will compete for the prestigious title of the European School Chess Championship.

Competitions are held in age categories from 7 to 17 years (U7, U9, U11, U13, U15, U17) separately for boys and girls.

  • Prize Fund: Winners receive cups, medals, diplomas, and the right to represent Europe at the World School Championships.
