The International Draughts Federation (IDF) is holding the World Draughts-64 Veteran Championship in Turkey from October 28 to November 8.

World Championship in draughts-64 among veterans

The competition will be held in the following age categories: men 60 years and older (born in 1965 and older); men 50-59 years old (born in 1975-1965); women 50 years old and older (born in 1975 and older).

Competitions are held in the disciplines of blitz and classic play.

Venue: 5* hotel, Manavgat region, Antalya (Turkey). 

Dates: from October 28 (day of arrival) to November 8 (day of departure) 2025.

The mandate commission will work on October 28 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The World Draughts-64 Championship among veterans is held in the following age groups:

  • men 60 years of age and older (born in 1965 and older);
  • men 50-59 years old (born 1975-1965);
  • women 50 years and older (born in 1975 and older).

Participants must be of the required age on the date of the competition.
